  Rude Manager, insisted we needed to book 24 hours in advance to use our taste card yet these terms are not stipulated. I suggested we could book a table now whilst we was there, The manger rudely and obnoxiously suggested we booked it for in an hours time, we said ok fine, then he went on to say nah mate - don't think so and walked off laughing, this is the first review I have left as I was appalled at the attitude, this horrendous attitude made us feel the food would receive the same level of attitude, so needless to say we took our custom elsewhere!

  Well appointed local pub. Music blaring out the rear entrance wasn't inviting. There didn't appear to be anyone else eating at the pub. We'd booked a table for 11 at 1815. Ordered at 1830 and food drifted out some 45 minutes later. Not awful but not inspiring either. In the interim a waitress cane out and told us two of the orders weren't available. I was suprised that a pub that had hardly any eating customers hadn't kept their staff informed of menu shortfalls.
  
  Dessert was a similar affair. Orders drifted very slowly out of the kitchen in dribs and drabs. At least one was wrong and many of the party had eaten before the last dessert came out (for the youngest member of the party; surely you serve the kids first). Once again, some 5 minutes after the desserts started arriving, the waitress informed us that 3 were not available. It's honestly not that hard for a quiet kitchen to tell the front of house what's not there and then plate up cold desserts together!
  
  If you're in a small group, you may have a better experience. If you don't want to eat your food with noisy karaoke as a backdrop in a conservatory with torn and bedraggled wallpaper some 2h35m after you arrived, look elsewhere!
